"Providing culturally safe care with an Indigenous Lens"

Expand your caregiving by exploring Indigenous experiences and the impact of colonialism on their accessibility to health care. You'll learn what cultural safety means when providing care and develop skills for meeting the Calls to Action for health care from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Understand and apply the concept of Two-Eyed Seeing when providing care, and learn why this perspective benefits the person receiving and the person providing care.

 

Earn a National Certificate in Palliative Care

Complete ten courses to receive a National Certificate in Palliative Care from the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association, Hospice Palliative Care Ontario, and Life and Death Matters.
